Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 will be released on September 21 for
PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, Konami Digital Entertainment has
confirmed.
Dates for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, 3DS and Wii versions have yet to be confirmed, but will be revealed shortly.
This latest entry in the long-running footie franchises is billed as a
massive overhaul for the series, introducing the ‘PES Full Control’
feature, giving players unprecedented control over the ball for the
first time.
In addition, the AI has also been upgraded, with Pro Active AI giving
team members realistic movement on the pitch, reacting as they would in
real life.
Elsewhere, Konami also revealed details on a pre-order incentive for PES
2013, which comes in the shape of the limited UEFA Champions League
steelbook edition. The bundle includes special code allowing gamers to
redeem the Historic UEFA Champions League Match Balls used in the
competition.
Meanwhile, U.K. gamers who pre-order the game will be able to bag the
Manchester United-themed steelbook edition, which features the legendary
club’s livery on the cover.
